Look around your home for safe, everyday objects you could use to make an instrument. Think boxes, bottles, elastic bands, tubes, containers or wooden spoons.
🎼 DESIGN & CREATE
Build an instrument that can make a musical sound. Will you create a drum, shaker, guitar, xylophone or something completely original?
🔊 EXPERIMENT WITH SOUND
Try changing your instrument. What happens when you hit, shake, pluck, tap or scrape it? Can you make different sounds?
🎤 PUT ON A PERFORMANCE
Give your instrument a name and create a short musical performance for your family.
📸 SHARE YOUR CREATION
Take photos or a video of your instrument and upload them. Can you explain how you made it and how it creates sound?
